Random time well spent
Hiking Ensign Peak with some Palie Walies!

Some of my favorite girlies!
My trainer from Tonga came to our mission reunion......oh how I love her!
My roommate Melissa and I went to Clinique to get makeovers....AND, now I remember why I don't wear a lot of makeup...It was fun though.
Mmmmmm......another trip to The Pie with pals Red and Marie. They are GREAT! (And yes, I have remnants of pizza in my teeth....it's so good I was saving it for later)
I have the best job(s) known to man. Jose and Angel always give us a good laugh. I love them :D

Books...Books....Books!
Oh how I LOVE sitting on a comfy couch, curled up in a warm blanket on a rainy/snowy day while reading a GREAT book. I am always looking for books to read, so if you are like me and need some new material, here are some recommendations in no particular order.
Beyond the Horizon
Prophecy and Modern Times
Twilight (the first one only)
Three Cups of Tea
The Life of Pi (I am reading this right now!)

Happy Easter! Everyday!
I was able to spend the day yesterday with wonderful friends and mission family! :) I also had the blessing of speaking in church for the Easter program. I talked about the Atonement and lessons from Elder Holland's last conference talk. It made me reflect on my life and the great part the Atonement has had in it. I am so grateful to a loving Heavenly Father who created such a perfect plan, and a loving Savior who was truly willing to give all for each and every one of us. We must ask ourselves if we are willing to give our all back. Be true disciples of Jesus Christ and living examples of His church to spread the gospel forth to all nations, kindreds, and tongues. Let us re-evaluate our lives, apply the Atonement, and open our hearts not only at Easter time, but ALWAYS!

Today while driving home from work I noticed an old man mowing his lawn, and yes I envied him! It got me looking at all the freshly mowed lawns on the street and I realized that I am totally, madly, deeply, truly in love with mowing lawns! I know I know....what a weird fetish hu! :) But seriously, everything about mowing laws makes me happy. The beautiful deep green color of the grass, the back and forth symmetrical lines you make, the smell, the sunshine, the satisfaction of a job well done. Mowing a lawn is my creative masterpiece....it is like me painting a picture, but not since I am not talented in the actual art department. There is just something about a well groomed lawn that pleases the eye, and what can I say, it gets me every time. I am so ready for SUMMER! :D
