April Fool's Day

Can I just say that I really dislike April Fool's Day....I just don't see what's funny about laughing at someone elses expense. I know I don't like being the brunt of the joke, so why would others? Why not spend our time out helping others laugh and find joy in other ways like spending time together, and doing service? My family has never celebrated April Fool's Day to my knowledge, but my Mom's favorite holiday was May day, so this year I am going to celebrate that by making gratitude cards and giving flowers from the garden. That just seems better to me!
