Aura Colors

Blue
Blue is a colour that represents peace and tranquil calmness. Individuals exerting a blue aura are able to make others around them feel calm and safe. In that sense the colour blue is also a healing colour. It has the power to bring peace to a situation overrun with conflict.

Red
To see the colour red around the entire aura is rare. Often patches or small areas in the entire aura might consist of red elements. However it is more common to see a maroon or pink aura around a person rather than pure red. Red itself as often associated with anger or extreme attachment. However variations such as pink can have a different meaning altogether — such as representing an inner state of love or romance.

Green
Green is the colour of healing. The heart-chakra emanates a beautiful warm green light which healers often channel into their hands to perform hands-on healing. Since green also represents the environment it also has a strong relationship to healing and returning to our original natural state of being. Being in an unnatural state of mind or environment that is disharmonic will result in the lack of this colour in the aura.

Yellow
Yellow is the colour of happiness — while Orange is the colour of pleasure. The slight difference is that a Yellow aura often indicates that the person is feeling true sincere happiness and inner contentment while Orange will tend to represent emotional sources of happiness. Emotional sources of happiness can sometimes be perceived as negative (e.g. overindulgence).

Indigo or Purple
Indigo (or purple) represents advanced intelligence or spiritual aptitude. Those with an indigo aura tend to possess deep truths and insights within. Individuals who think and brainstorm a lot also tend to have large purple areas in their aura.
